This technique combined many elements from the other existing psychotherapies, cognitive behavioral, experimental and interpersonal, for instance. Traumatic events will really not be easy for one to manage, but there are several people that you can turn to assist you. On the first phase of the your treatment you will be carefully assessed, including your experiences. Discussion of taking away all of the negative feeling will follow. Hey will set a goal for you.

On the 7th phase, you be required to write something in relation to the distressing experience you faced before. You will be evaluated during the eighth appointment. This appointment will be your last appointment.

EMDR is one of the things that we should be grateful because it was discovered. This therapy is harmless, and it has no effects to the clients. It also been a great help to other several psychological disorders, for instance, eating disorders, panic attack, addictions or even anxiety.
