The Good News About Church Planting Management Ministry Pastor Growth

By Melissa Howard

If you want to know what the church really means, it is important to revisit the Bible where the word was first mentioned. Looking at some of its synonyms will help you have a better understanding of this word. The church also means the house of God, a fellowship, a group of people who are called by His name or a synagogue. This means that it does not necessarily mean a building even though it represents it in a way. God wants the church to grow and expand. That is why Jesus gave the last commission to go to the uttermost ends of the earth. Today, church planting management ministry pastor growth helps in fulfilling the last commission.

The first challenge one may have is fear and anxiety. For pastors under a ministry, they begin to analyze how the exercise will still allow them to get money. The major thing he usually considers is how he will even raise some money for himself and his household.

Money is not the only challenge he sees at that time. He is also concerned about the safety of his family when he is in a distant land. This can make his plan to write a resignation letter until he hears about a group of people that help pastors fulfill their calling in the ministry.

Even those who have accepted the task wholeheartedly and think less of how to raise the money still have other challenges to face. When the devil sees such a person, he tries to take him down in health. The once vibrant servant of God becomes sick and unable to fulfill most of his responsibilities. Again, if not with the help of some church planters who go from one ministry to another looking for who to help, the vision may die.

Even as a worker in the house of God, God may not come to your rescue except you pray. However, be rest assured that he will come down speedily when you mention his name. You will need the force of others to help you in the serious battle against the enemy and his agents so whenever you want to choose between two church planting ministries, you should go for the one that organizes prayers frequently.

Pride is another problem with pastors nowadays. They always want to be praised by their members for what they do. Some of them, after a successful building of another church, take all the glory to themselves. This temptation is however far from those who hand over the job to a group of other Christians from the very first day.

Pastors should not feel bad if they are asked to start their own churches. They should not feel cheated simply because a colleague was given a ready-made one. Sooner than later, you will see that it was the hand of God in it.

As a fresh graduate from pastoral school, it may indeed be uneasy for you to do this thing. But that does not mean the task was not meant for you because the end result could be what God wants you to enjoy. All you would have to do is to look for that group ministry that helps pastors grow by planting churches and you will never regret it.
