The midst of your heart can turn out to be a pretty pure place to go. I used to believe it was a place of intense misunderstanding and where the past lived, but I've come to find that it's most certainly a place of pureness.
These feelings that I feel inside have been directly claimed by others to be intense and for some unknown reason I have experienced some variety of negativity with this word. Maybe it's the way that I am taking it? Perhaps it's the way that I translate that word? However, I am absolutely starting to begin to find this emotional force about life is actually pure simplicity manifesting itself.
I am hooking up and linking into the pureness of a number of these thoughts and emotions that I have not absolutely experienced before. Maybe that's the idea right there - completely experiencing emotions.
When we shut ourselves off from experiencing bad feelings we also shut ourselves off from experiencing the wide selection of positive ones as well. The midst of your heart could be a place where you can go to understand the truths about yourself instead of a place that you have to be afraid of. In this place, there exist lessons of love and eagerness. Why wouldn't you want to go there?
I believe we are scared of this place because we have experienced how wild and intense a few of these feelings we pass through are and that shocks the hell out of us. For whatever reason, we are taught to keep a lid on ourselves and not stray too far outside the middle because that's the safe place to play. No, I'd rather climb giant trees and travel into unknown lands than play it safe.
That game isn't for me...the playing it safe game in life.
The midst of your heart can become a place where you go to comprehend the complexities and perplexities of this life. There are so very many things that we don't understand about what is occurring in this world simply because we can't see them. Infrequently, you have got to run on deep faith. You need to be pleased to put your feet forward, one after the next directly into the dense fog and function on faith. Will it be scary? You can bet your money on it. Will it be worth it? Oh totally. Time after time you must travel into your heart to find your true self and start to function in a way that is truly connected and present with the world. If you can try that, there is not any cap on what you may become.
So what will it be today?
