Categories Of Beings Acknowledged In Spirituality For The Space Age

By Rebecca Stone

The world is currently seeing the biggest and bizarre changes it has seen in years and religion is taking many different forms and criteria that is not the traditional views of God that have to be there since ancient ages. Spirituality for the Space Age is one of these changes that is well explored by venturing into Theology and exploring the religion known as Scientology. Read through the article below for more details.

The church of Scientology is the home where the concepts of Scientology are taught to the followers of this religion that was founded by one Ron Hubbard who incorporated the ideas and philosophies found in Buddhism and Hinduism without leaving behind beliefs found in the western religion. The beliefs in this religion like human beings are immortal are what birth the controversies within it.

The founder of the religion still strongly maintained that it is not one that has beliefs that are far off from those of the Christian faith. The church and its teachings can be classified into six main categories and God takes the top spot where they believe that he takes no one particular being and can be found within. This is not however of the utmost relevance to the practice.

The church a next category is a man who the church believes has a denser and deeper nature, not the pitiful one always associated with him. Man is said to be a thetan who has forgotten his true nature of divinity and he is not of a bad moral nature but he is however just oblivious to his imperfections. He is a spiritual being not necessarily part of the physical universe.

After exploring man then comes creation and they venture into how it all came to be. The space agers first disregard the fact that the universe was created by one being, in this case, God and say that the universe came as a result of many thetans coming together and agreeing on creating a projection through which they would escape their state of being bored.

The religion then looks into salvation and also calls it planned conditioning that has happened over a long period and claims man need liberation of it. The new agers have techniques that they have devised to liberate man from all the conditioning and from this another controversy emerges terming this technique as tools for mind control.

Then comes death which the church explains as a reward for the thetan has now being freed from the confinement that was the body and can now reach his true self. It also terms death to be irrelevant at times as it is just another repetition of what has already happened many times before.

The last and final category is that of the occult where psychic powers are used to help man reach an out-of-body experience. In this, black magic is seen as the prime core of the religion. For such reasons, religion faces a lot of criticism.
