By Megan Nite

Being aware of the processes in a marriage can help you realize which you and your partner have reached, helping explain what might seem to be strange in behavior. They can help in your journey to a healthy relationship; you can find 6 relationship stages, as follows:

The attraction stage

During this initial stage each partner are hoping to get along and please one another; you both are trying to make things work out. At that stage, neither of you will have seen your respective bad sides since you'll have both showed only your best sides. This is the place where we usually are in love, and see only the best qualities of the partner.

The landing stage

Now each of you start noticing the differences between each other. Conflicts arising but they usually handled fast. During this stage, the partners either handle this or it may lead to separating.

Molding stage

Each partner accept and appreciate each other's weak points; they try not to use force and realize that sometimes love brings not only positive aspects to their life.

The happy stage

At this stage the relationship survives the previous molding stage and each partner relax their boundaries and accept that they may never change the other partner. They start giving one another mutual respect in addition to a deeper love ensues.

The surrender stage

Couples surrender to reality and start to believe that their relationships can have some defects too, and accept that it is normal. That's usually where they learn to love the other and definitely feel connected to each other. This period of time shows that you are currently both able to commit long term to one another.

The trust stage

This is basically the final stage; your trust to each other at this moment becomes unbreakable. Couples begin working on projects together, and they also become a real team; this is certainly apparent for everybody around.

What happens if you fail at one of the stages?

Communication is a vital thing here. Pay attention to your second half; let him/her speak first without interrupting thus air out your issues. You recognize that may be sometimes you feel different and have different points of view on many things. Always try to find a way to understand your partner's point of view or opinion instead of trying to change him or her.

Hope it is more clear now what point your relationship are at, and when you do I'm sure this knowledge may help you find the best partner!
