Psych-K Is A Method Of Healing

By Carmella Watts

Psych-K was thought up by a man named Rob Williams in the year nineteen eighty-eight. Mr. Williams was of the opinion that if there is peace and happiness within each and every individual, then the world as a whole may experience the same. It was these types of tranquil and positive beliefs that began the creation of Psych-K.

Used as a tool to address the emotional turmoil of mentally ill or troubled people, the method has been active since the late eighties in dealing with complex to simple issues. Some of these issues could be what one interprets as a mental block on success, relationships, physical health and many other subjects.

Muscle testing is a large part of this practice. In fact, the letter 'k' in Psych-K stands for kinesiology which is a method to use muscle responses as observational tools. This practice can be implemented in three ways. First, it can be used to find stress within the mind or body of a person, second it can be used as a yes and no answer system. Finally, the method can be put forth to find the true feelings and beliefs of an individual.

Rob Williams slaved over his system for a quarter of a century to get it to where it is today. It is considered a new and daring way to heal the mind, spirituality, and body of an individual if they so wish it. After it's creation in 1988 though, it lay quietly for about ten years before branching out.

Nine years after Rob Williams created his method, did others begin to use it as well. Mr. Williams was adamant that he personally train and supervise new recruits and practitioners. His high standard of excellence and care for the health of his patients created a following of professional therapists who use the method to ease the suffering of others.

This tool has been used by health professionals and many others and over time has evolved as a means to understand and evolve spirituality in a person. The originator of the method describes Psych-K as a spiritual journey that directly influences a person's psychology or state of mind.

German scientist Albert Einstein and French philosopher Chardin both believed that the loss of oneself came from the confusions that human beings felt about their lives on a daily basis. Both men spoke of the tilt in one's mind due to being forced to live out a human life as an otherwise supposedly divine soul.

By helping people analyze and understand the feelings of their subconscious, Psych-K, will create a path to help these same people deprogram the thoughts and feelings they do not like and replace them with the ones they do like. Rob Williams spent many years and countless sessions studying and observing both groups and individuals in order to develop the system that is known today.

Typically what the subconscious mind believes is what the rest of the mind and body is programmed to do. Psych-K was developed to bridge the gap between the subconscious mind and the conscious mind. It is said to improve the communication between the brains two hemispheres and thereby giving one clarity of whole mind thinking rather than partial.
