Jack Van Impe False Teacher Or True Leader To God

By Catalina Nielsen

In the opinion of some, he is a religious leader of the highest regard. To others he is Jack Van Impe false teacher, a representative of the devil. In either case, he has been leading people to God on a weekly television show for years. Followers gladly send money to support his television ministry.

He was an associate of Jerry Falwell, another Baptist televangelist. Both were fundamentalist Baptists. Now he has reached out to praise the Pope and espouse the Roman Catholicism his critics consider bad.

To those who are more liberal followers of religious worship, that was a good move on his part. To those who condemn his current views, it is definitely moving in a bad direction. According to them, Van Impe has transferred his allegiance to The Pope and the Roman Catholic religion.

His new beliefs are considered blasphemous by his critics. They believe that declaring his approval of the Pope is declaring a separation from Jesus Christ and His teachings. The views expressed by he and his wife, Rexella, are considered evil. They also consider the dictates of Catholicism evil.

The interpretation of religious beliefs is a subject that each person makes in his or her own mind. It can, of course, be influenced by others, especially those that someone admires. Children who are brought up in one faith, do sometimes turn to another. Everyone can worship in his or her own way.

Final judgment of how each person worships will not be made on earth. There are many different versions of the Holy Bible. Some people object to the modernized version and others find it brings clarity to the teachings contained within. Rather than bemoaning the details of how to worship, the entire basis of religion should be kindness and charity towards others.

There are a variety of opinions on whether heaven is a reality. If it is, most likely it will not be a segregated place. As Jesus welcomed the little children, God will most likely welcome all denominations.

Those who find fault with Van Impe also find fault with the Roman Catholic beliefs. They also criticize Billy Graham, a minister with an impeccable reputation. Graham is famous for his revivals and has preached to millions of people, both on television and in person.

Van Impe is the host, along with his wife, Rexella, of a weekly half-hour television series. It is in the format of a news program, focusing on religious news. His wifes unusual name is a female version of her fathers name. He was Rex Shelton.

Until Oscar, Jacks father, made a religious conversion when Jack was twelve years old, they both consumed alcohol on a regular basis. After Oscar became a Christian and a missionary, neither drank any alcoholic beverages again.

His education following high school was gained at the Detroit Bible Institute. Since then he has worked with the Billy Graham movement and Jerry Falwell. He also recorded a series of gospel presentations. It is now up to each individual to classify him as devil or angel on this earth. He may be Jack Van Impe false teacher, or true believer in Jesus Christ. In the end, his efforts can only be evaluated by his Maker.
