Many people have experienced a time in their lives where they want to feel a sense of belonging or community in their lives. This often occurs during a time of stress ones life. Sometimes it happens after we lose a loved one or during a major life change. Any number of things can prompt this desire, whatever the reason, we eventually begin a search for fulfillment. People try various things and sometimes it includes trying out a church in the hopes of finding a way to ease the feeling of emptiness. This is a great time to try Dewey community church.

There is no better place to begin and end your search. One will find not only a great group of concerned and caring individuals but this is where one can quickly become a part of the church family. This is a local, evangelical, faith based organization that is home to a great group of loving practicing Christians. One should expect to connect with people interested in growing emotionally and spiritually and being part of an extended caring family.

One will find that the leadership here is devoted to the spiritual and emotional needs of the congregants. They are enthusiastic, supportive, and faithful. Consistent in their walk and eager to service makes it natural to follow the leadership and want to support them in the ministry that is alive here.

The mission of this church is much like many other Christian evangelical churches. The difference here though is that this body seems to embrace the mission and live it out loud. The honesty and sincerity of members seem to shine through in their interactions with others making the mission come alive. This makes DC unique and truly sets them apart from the norm.

Although the church does not have a huge congregation, it is obvious the people that attend have huge hearts. The caring and concern can be felt as they welcome attendees in at each service. It is not difficult to feel the sense of community here which makes weekly attendance easy and comfortable.

There are a number of different ministries here. However, it is obvious the children and youth ministries are the main focus. Of course, this is a priority for many churches since the children are the future of the church. It is wise to spend time and energy into encouraging and training youth to ensure they become both successful and ethical as adults who have been rooted and grounded in biblical principles. This is evident here at Dewey Community.

Aside from the children and youth ministries, there is also one for women. This ministry focuses on encouragement, fellowship, and support. Fun, stress reducing events are planned regularly and highly anticipated by members.

In addition to the Sunday services, there is a mid-week service. This particular service allows for a more intimate setting for prayer, study of the Word, and fellowship happens. For both the youth and adult, fun activities are often planned for this time. In all, it is a great place to meet with like-minded people who are genuine, kind, and caring that will allow you the opportunity to grow spiritually while enjoying a sense of peace and community.
