Keeping Up With The Weeping Statue Mary

By Thomas Stewart

When you're a human being trying to live your whole life fully believing in something based on nothing but faith alone, you're naturally going to subconsciously or consciously seek out ways of proving this belief. When people see the Weeping statue Mary, they see something that to them sometimes might mean that God's existence is for certain.

People who have never heard of this phenomenon might be confused as to what it is exactly. In general, this is when a statue seems to appear to be crying. The way that it looks must be pretty convincing because the witness or witnesses of the event then go on to claim what they've seen to others. Most of the time, people will be able to tell if it just looks this way because it has been raining.

The two main ways that this type of event can be witnessed is either with a group of people or just one individual. It is easy to guess which one is more likely to be believed by the general public. When one person has a strange event that they have seen, people are more likely to think that the person has just made it all up on their own.

We may have become a very advanced society, but there are some ways in which we seem to still be clueless. It is very hard to live a full and happy life when you feel like the world around you is a maze of unanswerable questions. That is why when something like an inanimate object shedding tears happens, people might be quick to look at it as a sign to point them in the right direction.

Sometimes people are just out to fool you. That is why it is good to be a little bit skeptical. This is not to say that you cannot believe in something when your heart truly believes.

The tears that come out of these statues' eyes look different on different occasions. Sometimes it will only look the way that regular tears do, but other times it can be much different and even frightening. Blood has been reported, as has oil, as well as fragrant liquids in some instances.

This has happened a number of times throughout history, and is still going on today. Knowing this makes some people more apt to believe it. Other people might think this is just a series of copycat hoaxes, but no matter what you believe, this phenomenon shows no sign of stopping any time soon, and it does seem to correlate to certain major events in the world.

There are quite a few people who believe in these supernatural or miraculous occurrences. They are not commonly officially accepted in Christianity, however. Most of the time they're considered hoaxes.
