If one has a dream of acting together in films with movie stars, then he has to of course start from the bottom of the pit and work his way up. So the teachers have to make sure that they instill into the students the values of teamwork.
Of course after one has already instilled in his students teamwork, then the next value to instill would be self confidence. Now self confidence is the one thing that would actually be a factor as to whether one will be able to act or not. Now if one would want to become comfortable in front of an audience, he has to get rid of his stage fright and shyness.
Now one of the first exercises that one will be doing will be the pair dialogue activity. Now the teachers will first split the entire class into pairs wherein they will give each pair a dialogue that the pair would have to perform. From there, the pair will be creating the dialogue and will be acting out the roles that were given to them.
Once the students are already confident with scripts, then they can actually perform in front of a crowd. Now what the instructor can do is that he can give each student a script and let each of them perform in front of their classmates. From there, the teacher will give his comments on each of their performances so that they can improve.
Of course the final project for the whole class would be the performing of a full play. Now for this, the students will come up with a concept and will perform in front of a live audience. Of course the teachers will still be guiding them as they make their play.
