The Shea Corridor area contains the Resort Corridor, named for the many resorts located on the town Road. Tourism is the city's largest industry. There are more than 15,000 hotel rooms available here, largely aimed at the high-end, white-collar clientele. The majority of these style-conscious venues are situated within walking distance of one another in the area between Osborn and Camel back roads.

Other attractions for tourists to the area are casinos based on tribal lands. The Salt River Pima-Maricopa lands are home to Casino Arizona at Loop 101 and Casino Arizona at Talking Stick Resort. There are now more than 100 blackjack and poker tables in addition to over 2,000 slot machines between the two casinos.
