The time between childhood and adulthood is a crucial period for any human being. During this period a lot of changes tend to happen to our bodies. It is also a time when one is said to be more active than ever. Most churches have set aside services for the youth to address their issues. These services have been of great help for the teens to understand themselves and make better decisions in life. The following are some of the reasons for having a youth church Clayton NC.

Most teenagers do not like sharing what they go through with close relatives and sometimes friends. This leaves them with no one to share their problems with or listen to their challenges. The service created for the teenagers is an alternative forum for them to get the help they need in facing their challenges and anxieties. This acts a support group for them.

During these services, young people are given responsibilities which enable them to participate in the sanctuary. This helps them to feel important and useful to the community. Their self-esteem tends to improve and their spare time spent well. Young people have a lot of energy which if not well utilized can make them engage in undesired activities.

Teamwork when working on anything is essential. Teamwork is also useful in a family set up as well. During the youth church service, they are given tasks that are directed towards a common goal. An example of this is when they are given different scriptures to read. But the scriptures often have the same message.

Knowing the word of God and believing in it does not come overnight. Christianity is a journey and to have Christians who are spiritually mature they need to start the journey as young adults. The regular reading and praying will help in building up faith in Christ as time goes on. These services have helped the young adults to grow spiritually as they grow old.

As a person grows up, there are challenges they do face. The challenges can be termed as problems. Just like a math problem, there can be different ways of solving the sum, but only one way is the recommended way. The young Christian church teaches about the Christian way to solve the problems.

Reading the holy book ensures a personal relationship with the Almighty. Reading the scriptures alone may sometimes seem monotonous. Discussing the scriptures and reading the bible as a team makes it exciting and easy to understand. This is because the different points of view can get discussed and and a solution arrived at.

Christian boot camps are organized by churches to help the teens find the services interesting. Other activities such as waterfront activities are organized to help them build a sense of worth. Drawing the youth closer to the church has been a bit of a challenge over the years. But on creating the youth churches, the numbers have increased, and more positive outcomes have been seen.
